Executive and leadership coaching

Leadership coaching is, at its heart, a learning process designed to help individuals unlock their own potential. The role of a coach is not to teach. It is to help individuals push the boundaries of their thinking and build the confidence to explore new possibilities and the belief to take on new challenges.

Benefits of  our leadership coaching programmes

The lives of leaders are often hectic and pressurised. It can be easy to concentrate on the newest and loudest problem rather than long term objectives. Executive coaching can help identify those tasks that have the biggest impact on performance and outcomes.

And that is important. Leadership coaching is not a soft and fluffy process. It is, in part, about challenging individuals to be the best possible version of themselves. Using a wide range of intervention styles, a great coach can help an individual understand how they can break through mental barriers, change outlook and even behaviours.

Our coaching team

Our coaches come from many different backgrounds. Some have moved from HR roles and undertaken formal coaching qualifications. Others have developed their coaching practice over time – bringing with them diverse experience in senior professional roles. All, only join our Coaching Academy after an exhaustive assessment centre process including observed coaching sessions.

How long should I be coached for?
Coaching assignments vary but typically we see our coaches working with individuals for between six and 12 months – meeting possibly every four to six weeks. Coaching sessions typically last for up to two hours to ensure that issues can be properly explored.

What can I expect from leadership coaching from Chiumento?

The experience of being coached will be both demanding and supportive. Difficult questions and sensitive topics often have to be faced, but in an environment based on trust and independence.

Before your leadership coaching begins, we will work together to establish clear objectives. This could be anything from helping to deliver a key project and improving people or relationship skills to making a crucial career decision.
